Windows Phone 7

Microsoft still has a couple of months to put on last touches onto Windows Phone 7 operating software platform. The development has been going strong for the last
dozens of months heating up our interest which sincerely wasn’t a hard job to do because Apple and Google were so much better most of time than Microsoft with their
smartphone OSs. Everyone knew they will fight back sooner or later and Widows Phone 7 does have a lot of promise. This and quickly spreading impressions on early Windows Phone 7 demos ported to existing devices have interested AT&T as well. So much in fact that they have written themselves out eight million Windows Phone 7 devices to make sure they have enough when the platform is released.

Manufacturer or manufacturers are yet unknown. It is still a question also whether Microsoft will manage to raise an army of developers for the platform as big as at least as Android’s despite not providing multitasking for third-party apps, but I do understand AT&T’s move here. There are constant rumors going on about Apple selling iPhone 4 together with one more carrier (T-Mobile is a latest speculated contender) in nearest future. So AT&T could be reinsuring.
